Harvey Koop is magnificent, producing large, dramatic blooms in a striking blend of coppery bronze yellow shot with bold wine-red streaks. A sport of Spartacus, it carries the same commanding presence. It can sometimes throw a pure dark red bloom. Tall, sturdy plants hold the heavy flowers well, but because of the size of them, it definitely needs strong support.
